Breathwork found me during one of the most demanding seasons of my life. When the world shut down, I was suddenly homeschooling a five-year-old, recovering from a difficult postpartum, and caring for a toddler, all while trying to hold everything together on an empty tank. I was overwhelmed, touched out, and constantly on edge.
One afternoon, I paused long enough to take a single deep breath and that moment shifted everything and reminded me that there was still a me beneath all the noise and responsibility. As I kept returning to my breath, I felt myself returning to my body. Breathwork helped me regulate instead of react, find clarity in the chaos, and reconnect with my own needs.
It didn’t remove the challenges, it changed how I moved through them. That transformation led me here.
Now, as a mum of three, a doula and a breathwork facilitator, I support women who feel overstimulated, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is grounded, trauma-informed, and centred on helping you build emotional resilience, nervous system steadiness, and real, sustainable calm.

What is conscious connected breathwork?
Conscious connected breathwork is a simple, powerful way to hit pause, let go of tension, and actually feel like yourself again, even when life feels overwhelming. It’s not about zoning out; it’s about stepping fully into your body, your energy, and your clarity.
During the session, you’ll be guided to use your breath to move through stress and stagnant energy, opening space for emotional release, mental clarity, and physical relaxation. The practice supports your whole system, helping you feel lighter, calmer, more energised, and fully present in your body.
By the end of the session, a sense of clarity, balance, and renewed energy often emerges. It’s an opportunity to reset, come home to yourself, and honour what your body and mind truly need.

Breathwork offers calm, grounding support during pregnancy, helping you feel more settled in your changing body. It eases tension through the ribs, diaphragm, and pelvis while creating more space for your breath and baby. Many women find it helps reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and build trust in their body as they prepare for birth.

In the postpartum period, breathwork provides a gentle way to reconnect with yourself. It helps re-establish the connection between breath, core, and pelvic floor, easing pressure patterns carried from pregnancy or birth and supporting recovery. With a calm nervous system, you have more space, more patience, and more internal steadiness to meet the emotional intensity of early motherhood.

Personalised care for body, breath, and being
Think of it as an opportunity to step out of the noise of everyday life and spend some time reconnecting with yourself.
We start with a relaxed conversation about what's going on for you right now, whether that's stress, overwhelm, a life transition, feeling stuck, or simply curiosity about breathwork. There's no pressure to have an intention or know exactly what you need.
Alongside the deeper breathwork experience, I'll also introduce simple breathing practices that you can take away and use in everyday life. These practices can help you activate and strengthen the diaphragm, encourage fuller expansion of the lungs, and can help increase breathing capacity over time.
Once you've settled into the space, I'll guide you through some gentle breathing and grounding practices before introducing Conscious Connected Breathing.
You'll then lie down comfortably while I guide the breath and support you throughout the experience. The active breathing phase lasts around 20 minutes and can be adapted to meet you exactly where you are. Some people experience a sense of release, clarity or emotional movement, while others simply enjoy the opportunity to slow down and deeply rest. Every session is unique.
We finish with plenty of time to rest, integrate and talk through anything that has come up, helping you leave feeling grounded, supported and more connected to yourself.
How will you feel after the session?
Every session is different, and there is no "right" experience to have.
During the active breathing phase, you may notice physical sensations, emotions, memories, insights, or simply a sense of deep relaxation. Some people experience a powerful shift, while others leave with a greater sense of calm and connection to themselves.
Afterwards, people often describe feeling clearer, lighter, more grounded and better able to navigate whatever is happening in their lives. There can be a sense of having created a little more space around thoughts, emotions or situations that previously felt overwhelming.
Breathwork is often a practice rather than a one-off experience. While many people notice benefits after a single session, I usually recommend starting with a minimum of three sessions. This allows us to build familiarity with the breath, deepen the work over time, and create lasting change. Of course, you're welcome to begin with just one session and see how it feels.

Group Sessions
Sunday Exhale: A Fortnightly Breath Ritual
Think of Sunday Exhale as an opportunity to step out of the noise of everyday life and spend some time reconnecting with yourself before a new week begins. Each 90-minute session combines practical breathing techniques with a guided Conscious Connected Breathing journey, helping you slow down, release tension and create a little more space in both body and mind.
We begin gently, with simple breathing practices that help you settle into the space, reconnect with your diaphragm and bring greater awareness to your breath. Along the way, you'll learn techniques that you can take away and use in everyday life to support your wellbeing, nervous system regulation and respiratory health.
Once everyone has had time to arrive, we'll move into a short coherence breathing practice to create rhythm and steadiness in the body before transitioning into Conscious Connected Breathing. During this part of the session, you'll be guided through around 20 minutes of connected breathing while lying comfortably on your mat. The breath gradually builds, helping to release tension, shift stuck energy and create space for whatever needs your attention. Throughout the session, you're always encouraged to go at your own pace and adapt the practice to suit your body.
Every session is different, and there is no "right" experience to have. Some people notice physical sensations, emotions or insights arising, while others simply experience a deep sense of rest, calm or clarity. Whatever unfolds, you are welcome exactly as you are.
We finish with plenty of time to rest, ground and integrate before returning to the rest of your day.
